I would first like to thank you for welcoming me into your Kindergarten family! I ask you to become a partner with me in your child’s education. I will only have your child for a short time so I want to make a contribution that will last a lifetime. I know my teaching must begin with making children feel at home in the classroom and helping all the children come together into a learning community. This community is made up of unique individuals, each with his or her learning style, interests, history, hopes, and dreams.
I would love for you to know a little bit more about me! I graduated from Central Washington University in 2007 with my bachelors in Elementary Education and with an additional endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I have two children who also attend Lake View. My son is in 3rd grade and my daughter is in 1st. We recently moved back “home” from a 7 year stint in Spokane. An interesting fact about my family is that my husband went to Lake View when he was in school!
I love the theater, singing, dancing, and the Seahawks! When I was a little girl I wanted to be a Rockefeller Center Rockette, or a teacher. I think one out of two isn’t all that bad!
