Koo Koo Kangaroo Dance Party!

We were so lucky to have Koo Koo Kangaroo come and have a dance party with us today!!!!!

We have Butterflies!!!

Most all of our Painted Lady Butterflies have emerged from their chrysalis'!

Our Caterpillars are Growing!!!

Our caterpillars have gotten so big!!!

Some have even made their chrysalis' on the lids of the containers!

They are now hung in our netted butterfly house awaiting their dramatic entrance as butterflies!!

Caterpillars and Firefighters!

We have some new class pets! We will be watching these cute little guys as they grow and change into beautiful  butterflies!! We will be making observations in our special journals and learning all about these beautiful insects!

We also had a special visit from the Valley Fire Department this morning! They taught us all about fire safety, stop drop and roll, and even showed us how their special firefighter gear works!! What a fun morning!
